The fashion industry of India will become almost double of its current size of Rs 290 crore by the year 2012. According to a report by ASSOCHAM, the fashion industry is expected to become worth Rs 750 crore by 2012.Indian fashion industry will give employment to around 50000 people. The consumers are getting more and more interested in designer clothes and this means that this is a good time for someone wanting to make a career in this business.
